BOTAS SOLIDARIAS
BOTAS SOLIDARIAS was the first project promoted by Confórmate and the starting point of the association. It all began with a simple idea: collecting football boots that were no longer being used and giving them a second life.
Over several months, collection points were set up in schools and sports academies, inviting children, families and local communities to take part in an initiative based on reuse and solidarity. Each pair of boots was collected, checked, cleaned, sorted and prepared for the journey.
After this initial work, more than 500 pairs of boots were personally taken to an orphanage in Ethiopia, where we spent a month sharing experiences and delivering the collected material.
Beyond the boots themselves, the project showed us that great initiatives do not always come from great resources, but from the willingness to take action and from the collaboration of many people who decide to come together around the same idea.
The project that marked the beginning of our story.
COVID TALKS
COVID TALKS emerged at a time when the pandemic completely interrupted Confórmate’s plans and forced us to rethink all the activities we had planned.
In that context, we decided to stay active through a series of interviews with different people connected to the fields of sport, education and social action, with the aim of encouraging reflection at a time of great uncertainty.
Although the project had a smaller impact than our previous initiative, it allowed us to keep Confórmate active during a period of general standstill. It was also an exercise in adaptation and continuity in difficult circumstances.
A project that allowed us to stay active and adapt in a time of uncertainty.
CULTURE COMPASS
CULTURE COMPASS is the first Erasmus+ project in which Confórmate participates as the coordinating organisation, marking an important step in the association’s development and consolidation within this type of European initiative.
The project is developed together with partners from Ireland and Portugal. Its aim is to create interactive materials and resources for young migrants aged 18 to 30, supporting their integration into the host country through cultural, social and practical knowledge of their new environment.
At Confórmate, we actively participate in management, dissemination and content creation tasks, contributing to the development of materials, the coordination of actions and the continuous monitoring of the process.
Culture Compass represents a turning point in Confórmate’s journey, opening the door to European cooperation while preserving the essence of our own projects. It is a step towards greater professionalisation, while maintaining our commitment to promoting initiatives created from within the association itself.
A project that marks the beginning of a new stage of growth within more formal structures, without losing our identity.
STOP RUMORES
STOP RUMORES is a social and communication impact strategy promoted by Federación Andalucía Acoge, aimed at combating stereotypes, prejudices and negative rumours about migrant populations, while promoting coexistence based on diversity.
Confórmate’s participation began through an invitation from APIC Córdoba, an organisation that forms part of the Andalucía Acoge network, which invited us to join the initiative as a collaborating organisation.
Our involvement in the project is based on joining the strategy and offering our support as an organisation aligned with its values and objectives. In this case, the collaboration does not take the form of developing our own actions, but of joining an existing network that works along similar lines to our projects, especially in parallel with the development of Culture Compass.
This participation represents a strategic collaboration for Confórmate, strengthening our connection with social inclusion initiatives and network-based work, without moving away from our identity or our own projects.
A collaboration that reinforces the idea that joining existing networks is also a way to create social impact.
